Kim is a titled musculoskeletal physiotherapist (as awarded by the Australian Physiotherapy Association in 2000). She gained experience working in hospitals and private practices in Tasmania, the UK and Canada before returning to Brisbane in 2002 and joining the team at Carina Central Physiotherapy. While overseas, Kim gained extensive experience treating Whiplash injuries at a Calgary clinic. Kim has provided physiotherapy services for a variety of sporting teams (to state and national level) including hockey, Australian rules, touch football, gymnastics and netball. Kim has been a treating clinician on a number of research trials at both the University of Queensland and Griffith University including neck and arm pain, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, anterior knee pain and whiplash injuries.

Kim also has experience as a clinical tutor for the University of Queensland and works as a screening physiotherapist in the Mater public Neurosurgery Clinic.

Kim is a keen participant in mountain biking , enjoys bush walking and camping and she keeps busy with her three daughters.
