Margie graduated from physiotherapy at the University of Queensland in 1992 and became a titled musculoskeletal physiotherapist upon completing a master’s degree in 2000. After gaining a broad range of experience in hospital and community settings in Brisbane and London, Margie commenced private practice in Carina in 2001. Margie has a particular interest in neck pain, headaches and women's health. Margie has been a treating clinician on University of Queensland research trials investigating neck pain, whiplash, knee pain and tennis elbow. Margie is a past chairperson of the APA QLD Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Association and a member of the APA Women’s, Men’s and Pelvic Health group.

Margie enjoys family trips to the countryside and riding horses in her spare time.
